Thanks to the internet, we have many embroidery designs and patterns that are waiting to be transferred to fabrics as final products. The main question remains on how to transfer these patterns and images to the fabrics. The following are some of the most common ways of transferring embroidery designs to fabrics

Carbon

You can purchase dressmakers carbon from your favorite fabric shop. The package comes with several colors; around five in number. Dressmaker’s carbon is graphite and wax-free and works similarly to carbon paper. Once you have your carbon, place your fabric on a strong, smooth surface and tape the carbon onto the textile. On top of the carbon, tape your design. Use an old ball point or a stylus to trace your design onto the fabric.
